Roles & Responsibilities
Donor Responsibilities
Comply with all applicable food safety regulations and hold the appropriate registrations and authorizations from the competent authorities.
Ensure all donated food meets quality standards and is fit for human consumption.
Provide accurate descriptions of donated items including type, quantity, and expiry information.
Bear full responsibility for the quality and safety of food at the point of donation.
Maintain proper storage conditions until collection by the recipient organisation.
Recipient Responsibilities
Be an organization active in food aid and comply with all legal and health regulations
Use received items solely for poverty alleviation (food packages, meals, social groceries) or social integration.
Never use donated food for direct commercial purposes under any circumstances.
Comply with all food safety regulations in handling, storage, and redistribution of received products.
Accept full liability for received and redistributed products from the point of collection.
